Finally after a few years of getting loads of credit card offers. I believe I have find the “magic” way to eliminate all of this unnecessary junk mail. Junk mail can consist of just about anything but the main portion seems to be Credit Card offers.

When you use the Internet, junk mail can be eliminated with a feature called spam or the next best thing called delete button.

One might wonder where all these credit card companies manage to get names and addresses to keep sending all this unwanted mail. There is only one family living at my address and yet, it seems that my entire married and grown family has moved back. Since I”m getting their credit card offers, are they receiving my “great” offers at their homes?

There is a list that people can have their names put on to stop receiving junk mail. I register what seems like every few months so I”m guess that didn’t work as the mail person still kept putting it in my mailbox

When you open up these offers, for your convenience they have enclosed a self addressed and “no postage” necessary envelope. Wonder what would happen if another tab was put across the return address and used the “no postage” envelope for ones own use?

Upon receiving this great credit card offers, I would simply turn on my paper shredder and wave bye bye until next time. It seems that these irresistible offers were honoring my mailbox at least two or three times a week. Even thought about going to a local office supply company and purchasing the largest commercial paper shedder I could buy. I did decide against it as there had to be another way to stop this insane junk mail.

An idea came to one day and I thought about these companies having to pay the postage two ways. One way was to get these “offers” to me and the next way was to get their return envelopes back to their home of origin. In checking to make sure that they would not be able to trace it back to me, of which I did not give a “hoot”, I decided to reseal the postage paid envelope and return it empty.

Now I was getting some satisfaction which in fact did make me feel that I was in control of taking up their time and lets not forget their money. I had already starting tell many of my friends to do the same and word starting getting around.

Guess word got around as these credit card offers have finally stopped after many months of my friends and myself not giving up.
