Question of the day: Do you think crime is high or low in Victoria?

After reading reporter Gheni Platenburg's story on crime in Victoria, ranging reporter JR Ortega and I got to wondering if people think crime is high or low in Victoria. I went out to IHOP on Tuesday morning to find out.

“I’d say it’s low. Yo0u don’t hear as much about crime in the past couple of years, so I think it’s gotten better.” – Patrick Matthews, Unit Petroleum employee, Victoria.

“I think it’s worse. Well, I read the paper and there have been some robberies on my street lately, so I think it’s worse.” – Margaret Dominy, retired teacher, Victoria.
