Question of the day: Have you started your holiday shopping yet?

Tomorrow is Dec. 1. Which means Christmas is looming fast upon us, and the time for Christmas shopping has come. I haven't started my shopping yet - I won't get 'round to it 'til the day before and then everybody will probably just get books - but ranging reporter J.R.Ortega and I were wondering about everyone else. So we decided to ask. Have you started your holiday shopping yet?

“Yes, we’re almost finished. We started the first of November. We have too many family members to wait.” –Jamie Yogi, nurse, Victoria.

“No, I haven’t even started. The kids have already made their lists and everything so now it’s just getting out there and getting everything and fighting through the crowds. I’m dreading it really.” – Gwen Wood, Subway employee, Victoria.

“No, I haven’t even started yet. Maybe next week.” – Sarah Fernandez, retired teacher, San Diego, Texas.

“No, I probably won’t start until the 24th. I will start my working on the things I send out to folks across the country though. I’ll probably start work on my annual newsletter in the next couple of days.” – Joe Tarver, retired, Victoria.
