I got pelted with a flurry of sleet from the grayish skies this morning, but the question of the day had to be asked so this intrepid reporter, dressed for a blizzard (I had it all - the coat, the scaf and gloves, though of course I neglected to wear socks) braved the cold to get on out there to ask the IHOP patrons the question: What do you think of the road construction in Victoria? Here's what they said:

“It’s needed because the roads are just horrible.” – Jimmy Loven, oil field service employee, Victoria.

“It’s an inconvenience, but it will probably be for the better.” Sean Johnson, gas pipeline surveyor, , Rogers, Arkansas.

“”There’s a lot of it, but it has to be done. Besides, I know all of the shortcuts and ways around it.” – Jessica Stone, Citizens Medical labtech, Victoria.

“Some of it’s a mess and I don’t even know what to say about Sam Houston, but it’s going to be a whole lot better in the long-run.” Steven Stone, self employed, Victoria.
