Question of the day: What do you think of modern baby names?

Well, the weather was drizzly and gray this morning, but a trip to IHOP allowed me to meet some interesting people and ask them questions:

“They’re too long. They’re hard to pronounce and most of the time you’ve never heard of them.” – Mary Brown, retired, Victoria.

“Sometimes, I don’t know where they get them from. What ever happened to Peter, Paul, James, Mary and Joseph? I don’t know why people don’t use more of the old traditional names.” Bill Brown, retired, Victoria.

“As a father of four and a grandfather of 11 and a great grandfather of six, we have a great variety of names in the family, but I like the old traditional names the best.” A.C. Holden, retired, Dewey Oklahoma.
