put her to sleep for her nap today. At 6 AM, my blond beauty was awake and happy. She was in a new environment, and the monitor let me listen to her discuss her life with herself in baby babble. I went in at half past and she just giggled. She must have guessed right about being in her MIMI's house. I combed my hair, changed clothes and we were off. Playing, reading books, building, bottle at 8, a long stroll in the neighborhood, breakfast at ten, and finally, finally, a nap at eleven. I figure I have 6 minutes left to finish this. I did get to sit down. Kids had called and were on their way, but would be late. Not a problem, I turned on my romance songs and we danced and we twirled until this old girl had to just sit. I chose the rocker and before I knew it, my little muskrat was asleep, and I was once again high on life. I needed this QT after my week. Yes, the bones feel it, but it's a great kind of pain. I am pretty sure that the endorphins are at a max today, and that is what life is about for me.
The hub really was sweet about not calling at weird times. He waited for my calls instead, but did have to call just after I hung up to tell me about the five foot rattler he just killed. And that man still wonders why I choose to pick my occasional weekends down there. Rattler, blue eyed beauty,.......that's an easy answer.
