There's only one thing we can make of the Dallas Maverick's 105-92 win over the San Antonio Spurs.

They are the greatest team of all time.

All right, that's an extreme exaggeration but it may not be too far off to call them the best team in the league this year. The Mavericks have everything to make another run towards the best record in the league again, but more importantly, they have the experience to return to the NBA Finals.

While the team ran into a hot Golden State team last year, don't expect that this year. We all have no idea what's in the heads of the Mavericks players, but I would assume that they are all hungry to prove all their doubters wrong.

On the flip side, the Spurs are a team that is going to be right there in the end. It's just too bad for them, they'll probably be watching as the Mavs are celebrating their second Western Conference Finals championship in the past three years.

  • Sho yo right the Rockets beat the Spurs once and they'll do it again. The Mav's pulled a sqweaker that last game and It'll be different next time.

  • The Mavs could indeed win the championship but they best not overlook my Rockets.
I know that strong bench continues to beat them but with a few tweaks they will be right there with the Suns, Spurs, and Mavs. If McGrady and Yao are clicking the Mav’s do not have an answer.

  • Don't start counting your NBA title too soon! One game and one win doesn't make a season.
No doubt the Mavs are talented and could win the NBA title this year, but the Spurs know exactly what it takes and when it's needed to capture YET another title!
