Thanks Kent State. I appreciate it Kentucky. Good try Baylor. You guys may not care but you all ruined my brackets on Thursday.
While you all were lower seeds, I put my trust in you. I dreamed your dream and I'm having to deal with your nightmare just as you are. Some may say that it's the beauty of March, but I'm bitter.
I'll never visit the Kent State campus, I'll never cheer for the Wildcats of Kentucky again and I may never talk to my sister Magen who graduated from Baylor again.
Other than those three loses, my brackets were clean. I went 13-of-16 in my picks, but anyone who knows about the NCAA tournament will tell you that I'm in deep trouble with the losses. I'm in two different groups on line with friends and I have some work to do.
I'll have to make up some ground on Friday to catch back up, but I have to say my pride has taken a hit.
Anyone out there have any luck on Thursday?

I don't have a bracket, but the alma mater has let me down this time. I don't care if Baylor can't play football to save their life, but basketball? That's our GAME! I guess I'll have to rely on tennis or some other minor sport this year.
March 21, 2008 at 7:45 p.m.I have eight brackets. Yes, a wee bit obsessive, but I love basketball. What can I say? I'm 15-16, 14-16, 14-16, 13-16, 13-16, 12-16, 12-16 and 2-16 [the last one is because every year I do one bracket with nothing but upsets. The #16 seeds go to the championship and battle it out]. And Mr. Cobbbler, I only have KU winning in one of those. Sorry, but I gotta go with Memphis, Georgetown and even UNC. KU has not been as consistent as I think they need to be to win it all. Neither has UT.
March 21, 2008 at 3:14 p.m.I failed to get in my bracket -- hey, we need to have an office pool next year for this. Nonetheless, I'm happy -- my Jayhawks looked great. I hope your bracket has KU going all the way.
