Oprah may not be coming to Victoria, but one of the biggest football teams in San Antonio is making its way to Memorial Stadium right now.
The Memorial Vipers are set to host the San Antonio Clark Cougars (9-1) at 7:30 p.m. today in a Class 5A, Division I bi-district playoff game.
Memorial (5-4) is hosting its first playoff game in the school's history and is playing its first playoff game since 2005. The Cougars have made the playoffs 20 times in the past 30 years, and were beat by San Antonio Southwest in the bi-district round last year.
I'll be blogging throughout the game to keep you up to date if you are unable to make it to the stadium.

I heard that the team is allowing you to run through the spirit tunnel in appreciation of your dedication to the coverage of Viper football. Is that true, and if so, will you be holding the hand of a certain local TV personality? I ask because that was also part of the rumor. The final part of the rumor is that you will attempt a 20-yard field goal at halftime and everyone in the stadium gets free nachos if you nail it.
