Ever feel like you were totally out of control of your own destiny?
That has to be how the players from San Marcos Baptist Academy felt on Friday. The St. Joseph Flyers are clicking on all cylinders and rolled through the Bears en route to a 54-0 win.
St. Joseph is on fire right now defensively. The team hasn't allowed a point in three games and left San Marcos with even more confidence.
The offense hasn't been the strong point this season for the Flyers, but they were unstoppable against the Bears. Kamen Ruelas, Kevin Daniels, Ryan Valdez and Don Paul Dubose could have all run for 200 yards in this one but it wasn't needed.
The opponents will start getting stronger but if St. Joseph plays like they did on Friday it can expect to bring back another district championship.
