The University of Houston-Victoria fell 7-1 at No. 2-ranked Oklahoma City University in the first game of a doubleheader, but bounced back to take a 6-5 win to close out its weekend. Stephanie Lavey hit a three-run home run and scored the game's final run off a RBI double by Sam Campagna. UHV is now 25-8 going into a doubleheader on Tuesday against Texas Southern. Kristen Lindley had the Jaguars' only hit in the game, while the Stars pounded out 14 hits in the win. Tasha Rotramel took the loss for the Jaguars who saw their winning streak end at 12 games.
