For all the whiners out there who have complained about there be too many college bowl games, you can wake up Friday morning and enjoy not seeing anymore games for about eight months.

For the rest of us, the sane ones, Thursday marks a day of joy and sadness.

The national championship between Florida and Oklahoma is set and should be a great game. The Sooners have one of the best offenses in the history of college football and the Gators may have one of the best leaders in Tim Tebow.

My pick is the Sooners, and rarely, if ever, am I wrong. Sam Bradford has proven that he is basically unstoppable, and despite the loss of DeMarco Murray, the Sooners rushing attack is one that any defensive coordinator would fear.

Florida has Percy Harvin and many more playmakers aiding in Tim Tebow's college success. The Gators are a tough team, but I think Oklahoma will pull it out.

So, who do you got?

  • I got to go with Florida also. Oklahoma is a great team but when my Ole Miss boys smacked Florida it must have really PO'd them.
The way they came together to beat the Tide in the second half leads me to think they will gather up again and take it to Boomer Sooners. Go SEC!!
But it's all for not'....Texas will pull out the points somehow and they have already  won the championship next year with Colt already winning the Heismann next year. If you listen to the talk around that's what is believed. ;)

  • Hmmm, this is a hard one, but I think I might actually give the edge to Florida here. Dunno why, just woke up this morning feeling like Tebow was going to have some sort of superhuman game -- which is what it will take for Florida to win. All in all, it's going to be one helluva game. I can't wait!!
