I'll grant you that baseball can be a boring sport.

Games can drag on and seconds can feel like years. But the beauty of the sport is that you never know what's going to happen when you show up to the ballpark.

Take Saturday's LSU-Illinois game for example.

The Tigers hit three grand slams and won the game 22-10. Not only did LSU hit three home runs with the bases loaded, but it added four homers without the bases being full.

That's seven home runs in one game, just by the home team. Willie Argo, a freshman at Illinois, added another feat to the game. He hit home runs in his first three at-bats.

For me, this would have been heaven. Some long to witness a no-hitter, but I put those games in the boring column until you get to the final two innings. With home runs flying out of the park like they were in Baton Rouge on Saturday, even the biggest baseball haters in the world would begin to love the sport.

I just wish baseball players could find a way to become bigger and stronger to be able to hit more home runs.
