  • Perhaps, one sip of that wine will help the words come tumbling out and spill over your first page. If it has been uncorked for a short bit, it is good to let it breathe. Swish it in your mouth (or in this case on the paper).
    When I have this problem, I would just write something (anything) about whatever it is that I am trying to say. It could be the central part of the the story I want to tell or the ending. Sometimes, the other stuff will flesh it out. There are times when I get back to it the day after and delete it because I've thought of a better way to tell the story.
    Lucky you. Piecing together a timeline of events would be very interesting to me. Your dedication will prevail. Peace.
