After a followup e-mail, I heard from the agent who had my proposal -- rejected again.
So...I sent out four more query letters over the weekend and will send out some more this week.
It just has to click for someone. I know it will.

I heard about this one company on a podcast called "I should be writing" that was a mix between a vanity press and an actual publishing company. They have editors and publicists for you, but it is still an on-demand print deal. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of it.
