Trial date set

Kevin Hailey will go on trial for murder in February 2009. A judge set the date last week. From what I was told the biggest problem may be finding a courtroom outside Cass County that the trial can tie up for six weeks or more.

The date, however, gives me a time line...a deadline to shoot for to complete the part of my book that can be completed until we know the ending.

In the past two weeks or so, I've read an Ann Rule true crime book and a Dean Koontz novel. I just felt like I needed some stimuli from different successful sources to get my creative juices flowing.

They are.

I'm ready to get back to my work now.
