Submission guidelines

I got a comment on my last blog that we all need to make sure to follow the listed submission guidelines in a market listing for a potential agent or publisher for our work. I can't emphasize this enough!

I know it may seem silly to us whether our name is on the left side or the right side of a page, or whether the type is 10 point or 12 point, or whatever, but these folks are professionals and they have these guidelines for a reason. Follow them!
