I spent most of Saturday sending out electronic queries to potential agents. I probably send about a dozen. Of course there are agencies I have researched, know are reputable and know they handle the kind of book I am writing.
What a great surprise when I opened my e-mail Sunday morning and found a reply from one agency wanting to see a complete proposal.
Be still my heart! I know from past experience not to get too excited -- it's only a request for a proposal, but it's a definite nibble.
I'll keep you posted on how it goes. Wish me luck!
