As an author and a reader, I love the smell of a new book. I like to hold it, flip the pages, find it face down on my chest after I fall asleep reading. I have never read an e-book. I may someday. I can see how it might be a convenience at times. But I certainly prefer the printed version, preferably with my name on the cover and a check in the mail for writing it. How about you?

I have read e-books, and I was disappointed. I have ended up each time having to print the book out. The cost of ink and paper and the volume of paper need to print the book, makes it cheaper to purchase the book. It is also a problem keeping all the pages in order. I agree a real book is easier to mark where I stop at. They are easier to transport, easier to hold, and easier to store. I purchase e-books only when time is limited or when it is the only source for getting it (out of print or sold out).
