Tropical Storm Emily continues to churn in the Atlantic Ocean, but as of early Thursday afternoon, projections have it steering clear of the Gulf of Mexico and causing any problems -- or bringing any rain -- in Texas.

The most recent expected track has it moving across Cuba and skirting Florida before moving up the East Coast.

You can keep up with Emily at the National Weather Service Hurricane Center website.

We'll keep an eye on it, too, if as some storms tend to do, it takes a turn toward us.
