Question of the Day: School days, school daze

Hear that?

That's the sound of bells all around the Crossroads signaling the start of public school.

It's been awhile, but the first day of school was always an exciting time for me -- seeing friends you haven't seen all summer, finding out who your teachers were, checking out the new kids.

What about you? What's the best or the worst part about the start of a new school year for you? Got kids in school? Gonna miss them? Glad to get rid them out of the house? We'd like to know.

I'll be at the Hardback Cafe inside Hastings until 9 a.m., then at the Main Street Kaffee Haus in Cuero until 11. Stop by and tell me how you feel about school starting up again.
