Question of the Day: Remember when it was so hot that...?

As heat records continue to tumble in Victoria -- it was 109 Sunday, a record for Aug. 28 and we're up to 45 100 degree days for the year (43 was the record) -- we're wondering what's the hottest you remember it being 'round these parts?

Is there a particular summer, a particular month, a certain day that stands out in your mind? Did you fry an egg on the sidewalk? The whole chicken?

We'd like for you to share those memories with us today. I'll be at the Hard Back Cafe inside Hastings until 9 a.m., then at the Main Street Kaffee Haus in Cuero until 11.
