Stop the press! Free Starbucks!

As many of you remember, I am very passionate about my Starbucks.

I have spent many Sunday mornings with five newspapers and my Venti pike.

When I go on long drives to Austin, Fort Worth or even to Victoria I make it a point to get a cup.

I guess you could say that is my happy place. Don't judge me, just accept it.

When I found out that Starbucks was releasing new cup sizes, I jumped for joy! Then I realized it was all part of April Fool's. Hey, that Plenta cup looked awesome! And I would have been crazy enough to get a cup.

Just read my last Starbucks blog entry.

Today Starbucks is giving free coffee. If you bring your own reusable mug, you will, in return get free brewed coffee.

This is all being done to make a difference and save trees. I'm all for it, and I just made a pledge!

But with happiness comes some sadness. I live in a town with no Starbucks!

The closest Starbucks is in Rosenberg, that's about a 50 mile drive, or I can always drive to Victoria, about 70 miles.

Some people might think I am nuts, but just look at all the fun times I've had at Starbucks!

I am just happy I am heading to Victoria later today, driving to the Valley to visit family and to be a witness/maid of honor/photographer at my friends wedding.

So what are you waiting for? Go get your reusable cup and get some free coffee!
