Just a point (while you are rushing), the proper use of the idiom is "a round peg in a square hole". A circle is 2 dimensional so you would never be able to squeeze any shaped peg (3 dimensional) into it.......Perhaps early recogniton of this fact could save you some of the time that you so lack;)
