So it began raining today. Could it be the heavens are crying?

Goodbye, Christopher. We will love you always.

Jason Alexander, my "moon"....my heart is within your heart is within my heart. I have only begun to feel the depths of your sorrow. Because Guns 'N Roses is one of the deep bonds we share, this is for you:

And when your fears subside and shadows still remain

I know that you can love me when there's no one left to blame.

So never mind the darkness, we still can find a way.

'Cause nothing lasts forever, even cold November rain.

  • Thank you, vbb. Your kind words are appreciated. I do love music, and it enriches our lives so very much. I find it easiest sometimes to express myself through that medium. I can't make it (NOT talented!) but I can certainly enjoy it.

  • Yes, Rusty, my family has lost my cousin (I guess it would be my second cousin; he is my first cousin's son....or would that be first cousin, once removed? Never really sure how that all works). He was only 16. That Guns 'N Roses video has been around for about 17 or 18 years now, and is part of a 3-video story. The question then, as now, is still....how did she die? Never really clear, but just enjoy the video for what it is. It is indeed a classic, and the best of the series of three. It also has special meaning to my first cousin and I. He understands what I am talking about, and that is all that is really necessary here. So, LittleBlueBook, although I am usually very wordy and explicit in many of my posts, this won't be one of them. Just know that there has been a loss, and my entire family has been deeply affected.
I hope that everyone enjoyed the videos, however. They have meaning for me, as do the lyrics to both songs. Even if you don't care what I am blogging about here, please partake in the fine music. You won't be sorry.

  • SHUG: Did you  just lose someone?  I couldn't tell from the video what happened to the bride to cause her to die?
