The 109th US Open Championship is now in the record books and a young golfer named Lucas Glover has won this coveted trophy.

As we reflect on the events of this past week, it seems like a blur. We arrived at Babylon, NY which was only about 7 miles from the Bethpage Black golf course. Now we left New York and will continue our vacation at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio before heading back to Texas by the week-end.

The memories that we have burned in our minds will stay with us for a long time and the people that we met will remain in our hearts. We met avid golfers, regular golfers and even a few who were just getting started in this great game. We worked with and met many fantastic people. I was also privileged to have spoken with an enormous amount of professional golfers and they were kind enough to offer autographs. I did have the special privilege to have met all-time great golfers, Jim Colbert, Raymond Floyd and Annika Sorenstam as well as former football star, Warren Sapp.

We will have many pictures to share in the coming weeks but I will share 3 quick pictures.
One is of me and my brother John with with the Lexus car that we dimpled like a golf ball. The other photo is of me with the actual US Open trophy won by Lucas Glover. I must admit that I look good with it. Another picture is of my brother and I with the trophy. More pics will be forthcoming later.

All in all, a tremendous week.........

God is good.

Blessings to all.
