April 4, 1841
Crouched in a basement corner, gnawing on a rat, Andrew Jackson is startled by recently installed President William Henry Harrison. Cornered and afraid Harrison would take his rat, JacksonĀ attacks and kills Harrison, who had only served one month of his term.

This is the anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. To me, that is what is significant about this date, not so much William Henry Harrison.
