It really stinks when your child lives in another state and is ill but when they are put into ICU and you have no means of being there by their side it is definitely amplified ! As the story goes - Amber Bee (who now lives in Vancouver, WA) she blogs on here as Amber Bee in Teen Thoughts - mine and Michael's (grifter in grifter) daughter, called on Sunday stating that on Saturday she went to ER with temps around 103 and they stated that she had stomach infection and bladder infection. Sent her home with prescriptions. Fever still persisted. Went back to ER around midnight on Sunday, they admitted her for observation, then found out she had a severe kidney infection instead of bladder infection! Then on Monday, they found that she supposedly had a mild case of pneumonia. On Tuesday, they had her oxygen levels up and down - from level 6 then down to 5 then 4 then back up to 5 1/2 as of 9 p.m. Now this morning around 4:30 we get a phone call from the physician that they were putting her in ICU !!! You talk about being in a frantic !! Full of worries and wanting to be there but can't afford to travel financially this really is upsetting and it really stinks !! I know that the Good Lord above is watching over her but I just wish that we could be there with our "little" girl, the most precious gift that God has given us and entrusted us with.

MIKE: I thought that was some new "moovie" (sic) star That was a big mooove way up there. Glad she's "lookin' so good." TAMI: Talk about a lost parent, our son finished high school just before he left south Louisiana for a job in Wyoming. Old dad way praying he might come back home some day. Do you remember that old Smothers brothers routine? We DID move while he was gone to south Texas. He did come home and we were able to ride to work together for nearly a year. Thank ya Lord. HUGS TO Y'ALL
