• You are absolutely right RedX. It never fails to amaze me how people can cast a vote and not take the time to read, or better yet understand the issue. The ability to vote is a privilege and a responsibility that should be taken very seriously.

  • Congradulations!!! We are all losers of monetary value due to the passing of multiple propositions that will increase state tax on all citizens of Texas.

Especially a big thank you to the legislature which designed and processed the poorly written agenda on each proposition.

I cannot believe voters vote just to vote and not understand what they are voting for however, when property appraisals are valued the same in cities as well as rural areas, I wonder if we who live in the rural areas, such as victoria, will be blessed to have all the perks associated with big city life.???

Furthermore, the passing of a proposition to allow state tax collection for land and VA hospitals...sheezh!!! what are we thinking...allowing the state of Texas to double tax us on top of the federal gov't for the same thing??? Federal taxes are used to bless us with taxes associated with a military and the hospitalization and care of Veterans now, the state can do the I smell something here??? or is it just me...

To top it off all the propositions contained wording of IF this or IF that and my favorite word usage of protecting you from eminate domain prop 11 used the word unless...the state, governing party etc...what is wrong with people for not reading verbatum...most people do not read past the first sentence and we expect our children to read constantly...

Any who!!! congradulations and watch your tax bills increase or better yet your taxes decrease and your appraisals increase...go figure GOOD JOB!!!
