for the November 3, 2009 Constitutional Amendment Election continues until 5 pm on Tuesday, October 27th when the period to submit an application ends. To obtain an application for a ballot by mail you may contact the Elections Office and request an application be mailed to you.

Voting by mail is limited to a special group of people who qualify. To qualify you must meet at least one of the following criteria;

Be 65 years of age or older by Election Day,

Have a disability which prevents you from going into a polling location,

Be confined in jail without a final conviction of a felony offense, or

Be absent from the county during early voting in person and on Election Day.

Applications may also be downloaded from the Elections website at and selecting MAIL BALLOT. Print the form, fill out the necessary information and mail the form to the office.

If you vote by mail you may not vote on Election Day or during the period of early voting in person. Voting more than once in any election is illegal.
