The Constitutional Amendment Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Polling Places in all election precincts will open at 7:00 am and close at 7:00 pm. A complete list will be posted on Monday the 2nd. On Election Day you may vote only at your election precinct polling location.

The polling location in Precinct 24 is no longer available. Residents of Precinct 24 will vote in this election at the Precinct 23 polling location located at 13323 Nursery Drive. This is the Precinct No. 2 Service Center.

Applications for Early Voting by Mail ended on Tuesday, October 27th. All ballots mailed to qualified voters must be returned by mail or common or contract carrier no later than 7 pm on Tuesday, November 3rd. No mail ballots may be returned in person.

Early Voting in Person ends Friday, October 30th. The Main Early Voting Polling location will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, the last two days. All registered voters from Victoria County may vote during early voting in person at 111 N. Glass in downtown Victoria.

There are several methods of late voting for individuals with specific problems prior to Election Day. If an individual has an out of town funeral to attend on Election Day they may vote a Late Ballot after early voting in person closes and before they will leave on Monday. If a person became sick or disabled on or after October 26th they may vote a Sick or Disabled Late Ballot. To obtain either ballot an application must be made to the Elections Office. Some additional requirements for each type of late ballot apply.
