A primary runoff shortens the time in which you may vote in person during early voting from two weeks to just five days.

Early Voting in Person for the April 13th Runoff Election will begin Monday, April 5th and end Friday April 9th. There will be only one polling location for early voting at the Main Early Voting Polling Place located at 111 N. Glass in downtown Victoria. The hours of operation will be from 8 am to 5 pm.

This is a runoff for the primary and both the Democratic and Republican Parties are conducting elections. The Democrats are voting on the US Representative for District 14. The Republicans are voting on the Justice Supreme Court Place 3 and the County Chairman.

If you voted in the primary you may only vote in the same party in the runoff election. If you did not vote in the primary, you may vote in either party's runoff. To vote in this election you did not have to vote in the primary.

Tuesday, April 6th is the last day to submit an application to vote by mail. The application may be submitted through the mail or by common or contract carrier or by fax from outside the county. Those who voted by mail in the primary have already been sent a ballot for the runoff election.
