Early Voting in Person for the November 2, 2010 Joint General Election begins on Monday, October 18th for all registered voters in the State of Texas. Every county has an early voting polling location which will open during business hours from the 18th through the 29th of October.

In Victoria County the Main Early Voting polling place, located at 111 N. Glass, will open from 8 am to 5 pm each weekdays from October 18th through October 29th. We also will open on Saturday, October 23rd from 9 am to 5 pm and on the last two days (October 28th & 29th) from 7 am to 7 pm.

We've found that not everyone can make it to the Elections Office so temporary branch early voting sites will be provided at the City-County Health Department and Victoria Mall. These locations will be open Friday, October 22nd from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday, October 23rd from 9 am to 5 pm. They will also open from 8 am to 5 pm on Wednesday, October 27th and from 7 am to 7 pm on Thursday, October 28th and Friday, October 29th. The Health Department is located at 2808 N. Navarro and the Victoria Mall address is 7800 N. Navarro. The mall location will be the former Waldenbooks retail space.

This is a joint election and Bloomington ISD is one of our joint participants. A temporary branch polling location will be open at DaCosta on Saturday, October 23rd from 9 am to 3 pm. At the Bloomington ISD Admistrative Offices we will be open from 8 am to 4 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (October 27th - October 29th). The DaCosta location will be in the meeting room of the DaCosta Volunteer Fire Department building located on Commerce Street. The Bloomington Administrative Offices are located at 2875 FM 616 between Bloomington and Placedo near the high school auditorium.

Any voter from Victoria County may vote at any of our early voting sites. These two weeks of early voting allow voters to cast their ballot early and not have to wait until Election Day.
