November 4th is here already and it is the LAST DAY to vote early in the coming Constitutional Amendment Election. The Elections Office will be open from 8 am to 5 pm on Friday for early voting in person. The office is located at 111 N. Glass in downtown Victoria. All registered voters in Victoria County are eligible to vote in this election.

The election will be held on Tuesday, November 8th. Ten propositions are on the ballot for voters to approve or dis-approve of changes to the Texas Constitution. Each of the propositions is an important consideration for Texas voters. You should review the propositions and determine how you will cast your vote.

Often we hear people mention they would have voted differently on a particular issue. I usually wonder did they actually vote in the election where the proposition was being voted upon. You have an opportunity to make your voice heard by participating in the election. Silence doesn't hurt the opposition, it only allows them to do things their way.

On Election Day voters may vote only in their precinct polling location and there are thirty-four polling locations in the county. During early voting you have only one place to vote but anyone can vote at that one place.

As busy as we are, don't forget to vote.
