The State of Texas is holding a Constitutional Amendment Election on Tuesday November 5, 2013. There are nine (9) propositions on the ballot for all voters in the state. A few counties have additional issues or candidates on the ballot but Victoria County will only have the propositions.
Some registered votes may vote a ballot by mail. The qualifications are;
being 65 years old or older by Election Day, having a disability which prevents you from going to the polling place, being confined in jail but not having been finally convicted of a felony, or being absent from the county during early voting in person and on Election Day.
Applications are now being accepted at the Victoria County Elections Office for registered voters in Victoria County. If you need an application you may call the office at (361)576-0124 and request an application to vote by mail be sent to you. You may also go to our website
and complete the application online, print it and mail the signed application to our office. At this time we may not accept applications by e-mail as an original signature is required on the application.
If you have any questions about voting by mail you may call the office or e-mail your question to email@example.com.
The last day to register or change voter registration information for this election is Monday, October 7th. Applications and changes must be postmarked no later than the 7th or must be delivered on that day no later than 5 pm.
