There are two election days coming in May. Saturday, May 10th three water entities will be conducting elections for their boards of directors. Only registered voters of the districts will be eligible to vote in these elections. Quail Creek Municipal Utility District, Water Control & Improvement District No. 1 in Bloomington and Water Control & Improvement District No. 2 in Placedo all will open a polling place on Election Day from 7 am to 7pm.

Each will also open an early voting in person location starting on Monday, April 28th and continuing through Tuesday, May 6th. Each will open from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday with an additional time of 7 am to 7 pm on the last day only.

Water Control & Improvement District No. 2 will hold early voting in person at their offices at 91 Preston Street in Placedo. Election Day voting will be held at the Placedo Volunteer Fire Department at 284 S. Williams.

Quail Creek Municipal Utility District will hold early voting in person at their offices at 515 Chukar in Victoria. Election Day voting will also be at their offices at 515 Chukar.

Water Control & Improvement District No. 1 will hold early voting in person at their offices at 93 Illinois Street in Bloomington. Election Day voting will be held at the Bloomington Fire Station at 551 Second Street West.

The other election in May is the Primary Runoff Election for the Republican and Democratic Parties. Election Day is Tuesday, May 27th and all Vote Centers will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.

Early Voting in Person for the runoff will be for one week only at the Pattie Dodson Public Health Center at 2805 N. Navarro in Classroom A (Room 108). The first day will be Monday, May 19th. Hours will be 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday and 7 am to 7 pm on Friday.

All registered voters from the county are eligible to vote in the runoff election. If you voted in the primary you may vote in the same party's runoff election. If you did not vote in the primary you may vote in either party's runoff.
