My problems with a drug dealer. Will something be done or will i be killed first?

Most any day, in the "Blotter", we see where so and so of Victoria, or such and such of Goliad was arrested for a drug charge. At least once a month, there is a big story of how VPD or VCSO have busted a "meth-lab" or a major drug ring... DPS will find massive amounts of pot during a routine traffic stop. These stories make one think that the local Law Enforcement personnel are cracking down on drugs in our fair city --- wrong. Wrong. WRONG! Let me tell you about my recent run in with this:
Like a lot of parents in Victoria, one of my children made some major-bad choices and became involved -- deeply involved with drugs. In the beginning, he was still a minor and I did EVERYTHING in my power to steer him in a better direction. We'd been through rehab, juvie, AA, NA, Al-An non, Ala-teen, Mid-Coast... you name it, we went there. While I could NEVER completely wash my hands of my offspring, there comes a point where, as heartbreaking as it is, a parent must let go and just pray. You know one day your child will end up dead, institutionalized or in prison. Every late night/early morning doorbell or telephone ring makes your heart sink and your breath catch -- But I am getting off subject.
During the course of my son's drug problem, he became acquainted with an adult male who is a major drug distributor. While I cannot blame this person (who I am prohibited from naming (58 y/o white male))for my son's problems, 58 y/o white male did exacerbate the situation. He is a distributor of cocaine, weed, and various prescription drugs. He used my son as a flunky... getting him and others to deliver drugs to other users. This went on for a very long time. until he was arrested for manufacturing with intent to sell. He was jailed on a $100,000.00 bond.
Well, apparently, said 58 y/o white male is just a little fish - allegedly, after his arrest, VPD offered him a "deal" - become an informant for VPD, and get PAID for his information as well... all charges against him dropped. So, he sets up my son to go sell to an undercover cop. My son, stupidly does so, is arrested and jailed on a $70,000.00 bond. Now I know... I KNOW my son made his choice willingly. He made very BAD choices and he will pay the consequences for his actions. I am heart-sick that I couldn't have "saved" my son, but I also know he is far from a victim in this case... He will be locked up for a long time....and I love him, but do not make excuses for him... However, what I find strange... my son, shortly after his arrest, was given the opportunity to give a name of the bigger fish... he did -- naming said 58-y/o white male. Yet, my son remained behind bars.
Now, since the day my son was arrested, said 58-y/o white-male has set out to harass my spouse, young son, my parents and myself. Numerous rambling and incoherent phone calls were made to my house at any and all hours... most recently, and most disturbing are the threats made against my family and me. I've documented each incident as well as report it to VPD...
9-10 - Subject and nephew drive up and down my street, slowing down at my house, shouting obscenities 9-11 - Subject and female park on the corner from my home... shouting that he hopes my son rots in prison 9-13 - Awoken at 1:15am by neighbor who witness two males spray painting my garage doors, and egging my house, destroying private property. 9-16 - Subject drives by, stops in middle of the street, threatening that my son is going to be killed in prison and I'll be next. This goes on and on and on... I've been approached by these people demanding that I give them cash that my son allegedly borrowed from them. I tell them that transaction is not my responsibility as my son is an adult and responsible for his own debts. Ive been threatened with death, assault, bodily injury - I've been tormented with their threats of killing/assaulting my son in jail. I've reported each incident and each time I'm told: "Ma'm, there's nothing we can do."
I have resorted to keeping a baseball bat close by at all times.also my 9m gun I'm frightened to stay by myself... What will it take to get this person off the streets and behind bars where he belongs? Each incident escalates to a new level... will I, my spouse or pre-teen son need to be actually injured before the cops do their job?
Why, when there is so much controversy surrounding the LE in our city, would they pay a known drug dealer money to keep dealing drugs? Isn't avoiding prison time payment enough for turning in other dealers? And isn't that what we pay the city police officers to do?
Who do I complain to when I am dissatisfied with the PD's response to this situation? The DA? The City Council? The City Attorney? The Texas Rangers?
I am not sitting back and taking this anymore. I will do whatever it takes to protect myself and my young son. You can bet, though, many of you will say: "You can't take the law into your own hands." Okay... but what would YOU do? I've given VPD nearly a month of this constant harassment and they continue to pay this drug dealer cash, and refuse to do anything about him until either he hurts me or I defend myself against him! I want to know who let this man walk out after he was caught with the drugs and went to jail. It doesn't matter if you want to put me down its okay i have taken alto BS on this forum. Come Monday morning I will go to the DA to get a protective order I already have a trespassing warrant on him and he seems not to be scared of it. No more games I am ready to make him pay. This animal while i was on coming out of Hobby Lobby apparently followed me and at the intersection by whispering creek and HEB Plus pointed at gun at me. Talk about trying to find a police office never found one so i decided to go down to the police station i went there and of course the City Police Department was closed. So i got back in my car went to the Sheriff's Department those guys were ready to listen to me. I felt so comfortable, and knew i was in great hands with Deputy Jaroszewski and Anthony Daniel thank you so much for making me feel like a person .

No arrest made on Paul House. Mr. Daniels was going to present the case to the DA.You know the thing is I have never had been ugly to him,i beleived him as he would say the drugs were coming from his newphew and my son. Seems like the culpert got caught but rolled on everyone. So he go off he even bragged that the VPD paid him. Believe me i will not let this rest I beleive if you commit a crime you should pay.now he is out jail roaming the steets looking for me. I do have witness thank god.

know i have had the VPD here probally 20 times but i hear the same thing. I just think somone needs to go tohis house andhave him take caer of it.

Your questioning why he was arrested or why wasn't he arrested? I'm thinking you probably meant "wasn't"
Have you asked if the case was submitted to the DA's office for review?
October 29, 2009 at 9:55 p.m.To those no i don't expect anyone to give me a free hand. I have hired an attorney and the question is why was he arrested when he pulled out the gun. To those that want to know yes there are witness and all of them are willing to talk. Aparently this man has been a crimmal since back in the days of his high school days. spent quit sometime in a high level prison. For example he would get his nephews and other kids go out and steal lawn movers so he could keep up with his addiction. I am sure if i give out his name some of you will know him. email me if you want to know his name. VPD told me today that a protective order is only given to family violence. This is how obbssed this man is I usually go out to get the mail i always look both ways look at my surroundings. Then there comes this freak stops in the middle of the road and honks his horn one nieghbor came out and ask if i wanted him to call the police I had my phone and Tony Daniels I really have to say T Micheal O Connor is very lucky to have this detective on his force.Victoria sure is lucky to have this detective. I must say i appariate all the work VPD has done for me. It just get agavarating when they theres nothing we can do but make frquent drive bys and of course that makes me feel safe.My worry is that this man will shoot at my house and believe me i will have lots of ppl to blame.

October 29, 2009 at 7:36 p.m.Excuse me, but isn't coaching someone how to lie to investigators illegal, and technically considered perjury or making a false statement? Of course perjury would be a far less serious crime than premeditated murder. Going rogue after all this public discussion might look suspiciously like a set up or frame.

They may be gathered around the TV at the station watching reruns of their amazing bust that got put on channel 15 Extreme video's. It has been on there all week as far as I know....

Once upon a time, I had a stalker. I was advised to make sure two shots were fired. One warning in the ceiling, one in the stalker. I know your fear personally.

Again, this started about 3 weeks ago when my son went in front of Judge Williams and he gave him 16 months in prison. on the other hand this 58 year old was a paid infromant. and he loves telling everyone. I could do away with him with my bare hands.

If he doesn' want to talk with me then i have to go with the DA. The crimnals are large. I have to wonder wy not go after the big fish. when was in jail and he was let out just so he could roll

Please go down to the police department and file a complaint against the person in question.
telephone harassment
making terroristic threats
disorderly conduct
property damage
if that does not work call the Texas Rangers
if this person is on parole or probation go to the DA and find out who the Judge is that pass down the sentence on said person just to see if this person has the permission of the court to be an “INFORMANT”
I find this little out of context with the SOP for LE agencies to be using an informant that is continuing to harass you for what ever reason. There is something missing within the context of you’re statements. Other words there is more to this story than is being told. Because an attorney would get a hold of the case in a heart beat..

about 6 15 i got a phone call from him now he is using pay phones. Tells me he know my husband is working nights and he will come by and either kill me or hurt me enough where i can't talk. PD is suppose to be on there way. guess change of shift.
