At some point and time during football season, I took it upon myself to write in this blog. I heard Viper fans state how negative the Victoria Advocate threads were and for some reason I decided I wanted to be apart of this.
I have never been afraid to voice my opinion and don’t often care, too much, about what others think of me.
Speaking my mind and standing up for what I believe has never been a problem of mine. In fact, controversy excites me and arguments are a thrill seeking adventure in my book! I breathe for the last word and often fight for it! However, I’m also a very mild mannered person. I state my opinion with hopes of change and believe the way I do because of my own life changing events. I am an old spirited person and seem to have been around a lot longer than my age represents.
With this in mind, my goal in joining the V.A. community was to share some love. Maybe I thought I could lighten things up around here. I believed I could actually gain some respect for the Vipers and perhaps a few more fans. I hoped that by sharing the truth about the Vipers; their dedication and determination to the game that perhaps, Victoria would learn to support them. Learn to respect them. Grow to BELIEVE in them. In addition, possibly speak positive about them.
Nonetheless, I hope I have given Victoria something to believe in by sharing with them who the Vipers really are. I hope I left behind something positive to “google!” And, I hope we have all learned a lesson about showing, our school spirit!
