Watchdog: Do your neighbors have a warrant out for their arrest?

Following is a list of all folks who have a municipal warrant out for their arrest, as well as the amount owed, according to records provided by Victoria Municipal Court.

Would you believe 4,747 warrants made the list? The amount this group owes to the city totals $2,028,012.77, an Advocate tabulation shows.

Of course, some of the warrants date back quite a number of years.

If you or your neighbor is on the list, this is a friendly reminder that money is owed.

The list is valid as of Thursday, Jan. 8. Names of those who pay fines are not removed until a new list is issued, which is done once a month.

If your name is not listed, and you have an outstanding ticket, call Victoria Municipal Court at 361-485-3050.

    They have a warrant out for their REST!??  OMG!  Quick, get some cots and pillows!  Get some hammocks and blankets!  Get some inflatable mattresses and warm milk!  THESE PEOPLE MUST RELAX AND TAKE A BREAK!!
