Do any of you get the idea that great quantities of chapstick are expended around here to not upset certain privileged characters? What sized box do they sit on?

Ok, pilot, that was so wrong about the special olympics....but it was extremly funny and true! Two of my kids are just know 10 and 7 and have alot better grammer and spelling than some people I have seen in here. Which leads me to believe that they are at home on mommies computer while she is at work. You can't help but sit back and laugh....after you have tried to figure out what each comment is saying, it's funny but sad, extremly sad, all at the same time. But it kinda makes me wonder just how much "fiction" was really in that story?! lmao

The delete key for the VicAd is very "racist" lmao! It allows insults, factless claims and rants, name calling, and just about anybody who will argue with a rock even though they are wrong to continue doing as they please, but when somebody writes a pretty good story, that had my sides hurting because I was laughing so hard I might add, they delete it. Somebody doesn't want the mood to be lightened around here. I really enjoyed that blog mom, keep it up!

Oh Justamom...you're not alone! As another poster put it...I got your back! Whoever this BiglilwhateverJ is...well, it's hard to believe he's real. I think VicAd has an obligation to also protect those blogging and they just don't seem to do that with this idiot. But this ignorant whoever he is is a minority among we bloggers so hang tough. Majority of us can disagree in a mature way and still come back and have some fun. I'm not backing down but I refuse to give him what he wants...tit for tat! VicAd's delete policy is not haphazard, it is becoming down right hypocritical, biased, racist, gender biased. Some of us are tired of being the brunt of the racial and gender slurs that VicAd allows. So we are saying enough is enough. If you know the intended party, then your new creation of Unruly8i is just a means of partaking in the inexcusable activities.

Americans are saying enough of the treatment we are receiving just because of perceived ethnicity and gender. We also know if we said the same things we wouled be deleted. We are tired of being tracked, abused, spit on, and receive the hateful treatment. And we should have the right to say so.

Unruly- yes the regulars knew who I was speaking about. That's why everyone was getting a kick out of it. I haven't seen you on here much, don't know if you are new to the forum or not. However, let me give you a little background on the bickering between LilJ and I. First, I came to the forum and began to comment on stories I was interested in. LilJ disagreed with a comment (or blog, I can't remember) that I had made. We had a long back and forth. I then moved on. LilJ did not. From posting on my homepage, commenting right after me (on purpose) to even sending me emails through the VicAd site. I have endured his rants, name calling, taunting and flat out meanness. I have gone from being angry at the lack of control VicAd shows and being angry at his cyber stalking, to having fun with it. I felt like using his catch phrases (that he has used to death on this forum) to show him what he sounds and comes across like. You think I was evil for that? Ok, you have your opinion and unlike others, I can agree to disagree without name calling. All I ask is to think- how would you feel if someone constantly screamed and name called at you on EVERY subject. Followed you around hitting the "report violation" button on every comment you made, and made sure to name call and slander every step of the way. I am not the only one who has endured this, hence the out poor of support I recieved. Make sure you check out both sides before accusing me of wrong doing.

Justamom...I think I got my first two deletes from VicAd the other day. I laughed as it made me feel empowered. Of course it had to be with our favorite poster...Mr. Big. I only called him lil because he has a lot of growin up to do...but they took it away? Go figure. I now think everything Mr. Big posts is hilarious. I move on....

Oh please Catahula. The "regulars" were quite clear who the story targeted. You do seem to appreciate "veiled" comments when you agree.

Yes I agree the Vicad's delete policy is haphazard. However, if it bothers you so much, take some initiative and blog somewhere else.

You wrote an article that was a great parable I wanted to use and tweak for my grandchildren. The story does not have to be a single target. Shame on VicAd. And Unruly8i --she did write well it was a good story.

She showed skills at possibly writing children's stories, but the giant delete key is so biased.

Just a mom. It is okay for someone to constantly throw racial and gender slurs but a parable is not acceptable. Makes me wonder about the VicAd editors. Oh wait. Remember the Op-Ed about Obama. Now they finally had to delete that too.

The question is who is managing the paper? Who is managing the delete key? VicAd has prided themselves in being an independent media source. However, more and more the magic delete key acts as if it is an umbilical cord from a political action group that allows people to be targets of racial and gender slurs. But if someone raises a flag about that source, Zapped like a bug.

By the way --the blog defining and raging against white soccer moms --well the VicAd never deleted that one. So the slanted history lives on.
