    i got blooms a couple of weeks ago and now have tiny berries....

    Hub and Joe are picking dewberries as I write. Joe will make jelly and I will make a fresh cobbler. Dewberries are everywhere around here. They keep on multiplying even though the building keeps taking out the areas.

    Hello Rusty,

    We have a blackberry "orchard" and we had our first blooms about three weeks ago. (Kind of odd, as I'm north of you, and I know yall's wildflowers bloom sooner than ours.)

    Anyway, I lost a lot of my blackberries to the drought this year. Thankfully, they are ALWAYS multiplying.

    I don't know what variety I have, but my mom got them from a lady in Port Lavaca. They are really hardy and huge.
