Bought a used paintball gun for pest control around the hacienda. The little $10 nonrefillable CO2 bottle worked okay for about 300 shots. With no experience with these things, when it quit working surely it was out of gas, right? The new 24 oz. cartridge was filled so everything should be okay, right? When the smaller cartridge was removed it still had a charge on it. That didn't seem kosher. Affixing the big tank produced nothing. The gross weight of the "filled" bottle was 48 oz. Is this about right?

What do you suggest my doing to fix this? Thanks

  • t3hMalk; Thanks for the tip. That was my hope for the malfunction. It looks like Rusty's going to learn how to fix it, huh?

  • Rusty, I could be wrong, but that sounds very similar to when my fiance's paintball gun had a busted o-ring, if my memory serves me correctly.

I do remember that he had to take it to be repaired, since he was still pretty new to paintball guns. The place he took it to is gone now, but he says that Paintball of Victoria might be able to fix it. I'd give them a call to ask, just to be sure.
