mountainwings.com sends emails daily in which is some kind of inspirational, uplifting, or life lesson message. The editor writes: "Often when people don't like an issue for whatever reason, they will write and say they are unsubscribing. I remember one case in particular after the issue, Cat Got Your Chum? where I explained that I had to give away my cats because my wife was terrified of cats. A lady emailed that she was unsubscribing because she couldnt respect any man who would put his wife over his cats. Perhaps she had one too many good cat/bad man experiences." Rusty: Did you ever hear of something like this? Want to share it with us? What do you think about that venomous woman?

I agree-weird. When we had my youngest, hub wanted me to stay home. At that time, he was a roustabout offshore, and even my teaching salary was more than his. We owned a golden angora cat at the time. She had to be sedated and shaved twice a year, and the hub even named her after his least favorite past girlfriend. This cat was so mean that the vet could not wait for her to die. Long story short, her cost would literally take food off of the table, so we dropped her off at the animal shelter before the baby was born. She was half way nice to my hub, and he actually was quite attached to her, but vet costs were ridiculous. Cat or baby, same difference. I am always amazed at the thinking that animals are the higher order on this earth. Even the bible says that man has dominion over the animals. It is also just a common sense thing to me.
