Not only did she save taxpayers a wad of dough......... she has more brains, savvy and guts and you only got to see this once, on Fox News.
She just saved the taxpayers a million dollars or more. I say we should give her a reward.
    BUTTE, MONTANA
Shotgun Preteen vs. Illegal Alien Home Invaders:

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home. It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine. Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun. Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals. When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive. It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David O'Burien, was not so lucky, he died of stab wounds to his chest;. Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news.......an 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself......against two murderous, illegal immigrants......and she wins, She is still alive. Now that is Gun Control ! Thought for the day: Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'

  • whitelineman: As I told roberttx, I have no desire to get into a needless weeweein' contest here. Both of you were way off base with your remarks. Stopes used to be my first place to check on emails until they were exposed as a bunch of nuts with an agenda.

  • roberttx: I don't want to get into a weeweein' contest with you and whitelineman like some on here like to stir up unnecessary BS. It has never been my method to purposely spread any untruths known to me at the time of posting.

You know more than one nitwit has suffered for calling a man a liar. I believe my credibility around here has been established for years. As for your misdirected comment "but thanks for using lies to spread a message of hate." Where is there a message of hate in trying to alert people to the reason to have the knowledge and brains to defend themselves should the need arise?
I don't know where this crap comes from "tsk, tsk, tsk, don't let your ideology blind you." (Just WHAT IS my ideology? "vicad, please remove bloggers who simply post chain emails." Remember this, "You can't stir it without it stinkin' and you can't sling it without gettin' some of it on you."

  • EX: I don't remember where those quotes came from.
WHITELINEMAN: "When will you people learn to verify these crazy stories? http://www.snopes.com/politics/crime" Evidently you haven't been aboard here long enough to remember that's been one of my heartburns for years. At least having that wrong doesn't harm anybody. As a former LE officer and hunter safety instructor I'm going to promote anything that makes the case for Americans to own guns and know how to use them. I wondered about the validity of the piece when it said she ran to get her dad's shotgun. A seasoned champion trap/skeet shooter would've had her own shotgun. About your right off the hen house floor remark, "Gullible people need to be more cautious about what they believe." I'll have to be more careful not to say what I believe about such a rude ... as you.

  • It's amazing, people will believe anything when it fits their personal agenda. Even when truth bites them on the butt.

  • This is a wonderful story about self reliance. I wondered why other media wouldn't cover a story they would normally be all over, so it took me about 10 seconds worth of research to discover why. According to truthorfiction.com, this never happened. Gullible people need to be more cautious about what they believe.

  • The man from whom the .45 was stolen should have been as prepared as the eleven year old girl. He had a .45 pistol and was stabbed to death. If he'd used his gun as well as the young lady used her dad's, she wouldn't have had to shoot anyone.

  • Thanks for sharing this, I had missed it in the news.
She is quite still a victim, she didn't invite vile actions into her world. She could only (and rightfully so) react to others' actions. Now she has to live her experience with the lethal aspects of the event. She acted absolutely correct, but it is one helluva burden for a youngster to shoulder.
