The BRIGHT lights were right in the face of the oncoming driver. I don't like to do that. In my rush to correct that situation the windshield wiper handle was pulled. The 21 degree F ambient temp turned the South Texas solution of wiper fluid into a sheet of ice. Panic!!! The driver had forgotten to fill the wiper fluid reservoir with 0 degree F RAIN-X fluid before Blackwood Toyota serviced the Tacoma prior to a Christmas trip to colder climes. As usual, the service technician topped off all systems with the fluids he saw. A normally expected action. LESSON LEARNED: Any time your vehicle is leaving South Texas for possible freezing conditions be sure to alert service departments so they can make needed adjustments. It might save your life. Have y'all ever pulled a stunt similar to this?
