Grandma Charlotte makes some innovative salads using all kinds of raw veggies and fruit. The last couple of days it's been my idea to drizzle fresh lime juice on the contents to taste the results. Yesterday's lunch included fresh avocados and tomatoes. Supper saw fresh mangoes and tomatoes and today's lunch featured fresh mangoes and fresh strawberries. Of all those goodies the strawberries were the only ones to lose their taste. Is this to be expected or was it just my taster? A southwest chicken salad is the only thing with I've tried which calls for the lime juice. Besides cherry limeades what are some other uses for lime juice you like? Thanks, Rusty
