U.S. TAXPAYERS HAVE BEEN "SANDUSKIED", SAME M.O.

News reports sound as though Jerry Sandusky has been learning his M.O. from politicians for decades...gain confidence of parents, school staffs, local and national officials and then prey on the innocents (kids in this case). As usual, the reputation of the University or the church or most influential citizens (no matter how sorry/rotten/crooked) must be protected at all costs, regardless of how many lives are ruined in the process. A taped interview with a professional bass angler/Canadian fishing guide reveled he was molested with a hockey stick in the hands of his best friend/coach/priest. Another case of "Oh, that couldn't've happened. Why're you lying about Father XYZ like that?" from my friends mother prompted a major fallout and my friend left home at age 13 or 14. Sadly, these tragedies occur in many, if not all denominations. What are your opinions about these cover-ups? should the reputations of the offences be paramount over the damages they cause physical and emotional health of the victims?
