  • It's great he got out of prison after all of these years.  I hope that he has a big enough heart to forgive those who have oppressed him in such an aweful way.  It would take a big person to do that. Hopefully he has a good lawyer, like say--John Edwards.

  •  Themis,
Why are you supporting Tyler as the prosecutor and having the trial here in Victoria?   With all the publicy, surely you must understand that a change of venue is the best chance that Ratcliff has of getting a fair trial.   If Tyler doesn't recuse himself as prosecutor, no one will believe the verdict was fair no matter whether Ratcliff is found guilty or innocent.

  • Somehow, you have this case of 20+ years as some sort of defense of Ratcliff? If you are a friend of his (as you claim, or disclaim depending on the post), I hate to see what offense his enemies come up with.
"Overly aggresive DA"? Is that how you would descibe the guy who hired him a year ago? Strike One!
The occused and the "victim" were roughly the same age, with no party having authority over the other in any capacity. Stirke two!
Race? Unless I missed it, Ratcliff and his accusor are both white. Strike Three!
You make a shitty defense attorney.
