Ranging Reporter J.R. Ortega stopped by Ramsey's Restaurant Thursday afternoon to talk with people about the possible consolidation of the Victoria mail processing service and Corpus Christi.

The Postal Service conducted a study beginning in late September at the Victoria mail processing center. The study supported consolidating some operations from Victoria to Corpus Christi.

The Victoria post office serves 33 communities in the Crossroads.
