I recently recovered from a cold rather fast and I think I now know why.

A study published earlier this month in the British Journal of Sports Medicine talks about how those who exercise regularly get milder colds, a shorter bout with the cold or no cold at all.

The study was published by lead author David Nieman, a professor of health, leisure, and exercise science at Appalachian State University, and you can read it here Upper respiratory tract infection is reduced in physically fit and active adults.

I'm sure this information is not new, though it was just published.
